Points earned allow you to qualify for different levels in the contest. On reaching every subsequent higher level, you earn points at a 10% accelerated rate compared to the previous level. Know more about levels in the contest.

Based on the points you earn, you would get a rank in the contest. You would be able to track your rank in the contest. At the end of the contest, your rank could get you get an opportunity that could make you a student partner with Microsoft! You could also win XBoxes, Windows phones and flash drives!
